Perhaps this is a beginning

I wanted somewhere to put the thoughts that don’t quite make it into conversations. Not because they’re important. Mostly because they aren’t finished.

A place with no particular promise attached to it. No schedule to fall behind on. No need to arrive at a conclusion by the final paragraph.

The name came first. Inchoate: just begun, not fully formed. It seemed like a kind word for a condition I’m usually trying to fix.

So here is a small patch of internet. A few pages, a rough plan, some room between the houses.

I’ll put things here as they occur to me. Bits of life, probably. Questions I’m still carrying around. Observations that might not add up to anything.

That feels like enough of a beginning.
